…little photog…
There are many ways to make your mommy smile! One of my favorites is when my little girl, Julianna, goes and gets my very old (and broken) Minolta and “plays” photographer. I say “plays” because to her it’s actually very real. She goes and gets her little American Girl dolls and does her very own photo shoot. Tells them things that she hears me say…it’s the cutest thing ever! (at least I think it is!
)
So, the last time she was doing this…I quickly grabbed my MarkDos (aka my camera) and got to work. Funny enough…she barely even knew I was there. Very focused on her shoot! lol
Anyway, enjoy a few shots of my little mini-me! She makes me smile!!
…this guys got IT…
…and that’s no lie! Smart, Funny, Athletic, Handsome…quad threat, girls!!
We went to the perfect location and had a BLAST! I told him that he could totally work his way through college by being a model. (after taking a look…I’m sure you’ll agree!) Here’s wishing “D” all the best as he rocks out his Senior Year and heads off for a bright future! Thanks for letting me be a part of this exciting time in your life!
Can I tell you how much I LOVE taking Senior Photos?!…I guess I just did!
Be sure to tell any fab Seniors that you know and send them my way!
Don’t forget to leave your comments…go on…show him some love!! (click LEAVE COMMENT at the top of post)
…a special day…
I Heart Faces: Collage Week
http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/
This past Friday was Julianna’s very first Father/Daughter dance at school. Who knew this day would require such preparation. First…THE DRESS! It had to be perfect…so, a trip to the mall was in order. I picked a couple dresses, Nana picked a few, Aunt Kelly had her favorites…and well of course Julianna picked one. (although her pick was vetoed before she even tried it on…after all…she’s 6, not 16!)
So, armed with 10 or so dresses…off we went to the fitting rooms. Aunt Kelly even told Julianna that if she chose the dress she picked…she’d pay for it. (I wonder if that offer will stand in about oh…20 years) Speaking of that day…it was so strange how watching my 6 year old try on little dresses with my mom and sister made my mind spring ahead. Trust me…I’m not rushing anyone to grow up here…just the thought, that one day we’ll be doing this and she’ll be all grown up. (tear tear) Thank goodness there will be a lot more dresses between now and then!
So, after a quick round of America’s Next Top Model…she chose the dress! (and the winner is…Nana’s dress!) So pretty…and BLUE. (Quite a change from my little PINK Princess.)
After a few more days of waiting…it was TIME! I fixed her hair just as she wanted, put on her pretty blue dress and high heel shoes and she was ready to go. Daddy got all dressed up and before I knew it they were off. Boy did I wish I could have been a fly on the wall that night. They came home all smiles…”we had a great time”, she said! “Daddy even slow danced with me!” (good job, Daddy) I think this is a night that none of us will ever forget!
…Coming Soon…
…ahhhh Spring…
…more like AHHHH-CHOOOO! I love Spring…it just doesn’t love me! Anyway, I’m busy having a super time with my sister, her hubby and my two adorable nephews this week. It’s always so nice when family comes to town. Some friends joined us for a (little bit) early birthday party for Cole. Everyone had a great time!
They are so adorable…I know!
Here are some of the evil…but OH so beautiful flowers that are making me miserable. I sneeze just looking at this picture. I can’t help it though…I just love all the spring flowers…they smell so good! AHHHH-CHOOOO!!
…GTS Workshop…
…close to home…
Sometimes I get lucky and a family lives in a really cool area. In those cases…I love to do their shoot…THERE! So, I packed up my gear…headed out to Kirkwood, MO and we had a BLAST! oh my…such pretty brown eyes this family has! I had a great time hanging out with the “C” fam. Thanks so much for all the fun!
